Description
With SEAT Leon's Full LED lighting system, night becomes bright as day, and even nature falls for it.
Execution
The app worked in following way: when the user is driving, the app reads the city map and, using GPS technology, calculates the distance from their car to surrounding buildings. This distance, together with driving speed, creates a pattern similar to a sound wave, which is transformed into a music track. No two tracks are ever the same. Users’ tracks are not limited only to them: SEAT is building a community of Street Sound drivers. Users can share tracks with friends, listen to others’ tracks and ‘like’ them, thus creating a Street Sound map of each city.
Outcome
Before this project, on the Russian market SEAT was perceived as a dull car brand with unclear advantages. After Street Sound was launched, users changed their perception: SEAT was not boring to them anymore, it became the car that understands their spirit, the need to have fun while driving, and their love for music. The unique technology that was employed in the app served as a message that the same high-technology approach is used while building SEAT cars.
