Security defends networks against surprise attack. Defence is also a key discipline in both rugby and cricket. So we linked the network benefit with the two sports. What makes the ad particularly engaging is showing the two sports in one visual idea: Protection against the unexpected is visualised by clever use of a one-and-a half-page ad showing a rugby player bursting through the page to make an unexpected tackle on a cricketer.
Outcome
More than 44% of the readership of quality dailies fit into our target audience group. The campaign provided coverage figures of 30% of senior decision makers and 25.33% of all businessmen, raising awareness among the target group and putting Cisco top of mind for security solutions.
