Execution
The execution demonstrated that even small contributions can make a difference. It also made people who donated feel empowered –sinking a whaler (albeit a miniature model) made them feel they were doing something for the cause. The setup added a bit of theatre to the fund raising and caught the attention of people.
Outcome
Since the campaign is in its early stages, we haven’t got the final collection figures yet.
