Breaking up isn’t as funny as it looks in the movies. To promote the premiere of 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall', a movie about a hilariously messy break up, we decided to remind listeners of just how un-funny breaking up usually is.
To do this we used a series of answering machine messages left by a broken hearted man named Steve. Playing separately over two ad breaks, the messages escalated in desperation, culminating in Steve singing a tragic, self-composed love song.'Forgetting Sarah Marshall': way funnier than your last break up.
