Description
Slow Internet is the true adversary of any online gamer. With that insight we created a fun retail digital signage spot that touts XFINITY's superior Internet speed--without going into tech specs or Mbps rates. To ensure that that the ad didn’t get lost in stores, we made it vivid and direct. It should be noted that no gamers were harmed in the shooting of this advertisement.
Execution
Slow Internet is the true adversary of any online gamer. We brought that to life by creating a big green Orc with a bit of realistic 3D animation.
Animators rigged the Orc with a set of custom tools to build the skeleton, attach his skin and add his accessories. Once animation began we used real video to block out the scene.
The final lighting was accomplished using V-Ray and the final scene was comped in Nuke. And violá, we had our impatient Orc.
