Description
• Based on the mode of "Creativity + Advertising + Public welfare”, Create for Good builds a public welfare platform for professionals to exert their strengths. For example, Tencent provides technologies and platforms, and creative talents provide quality ideas.
• Create for Good can be regarded as a user generated content (UGC) program, which aims to inspire more valuable ideas through competition.
Execution
Step 1 Roadshow sessions in 3 cities
· Roadshows to be launched in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
· KOLs' creative ideas and opinions expressed by public welfare experts with Tencent Social Ads and social media.
Step 2 Program launch conference
· On August 15, the press conference for the official launched.
· In September, the product technical team provided one-on-one tutoring for finalists.
· Wider communication among media outlets and KOLs, introducing live-broadcasting platforms, regular broadcasting, and WeChat social media moments of guests and media, arousing debates and gaining wider appreciation for the program.
Step 3 Awarding ceremony
· On October 18, the award ceremony for Create for Good announced final awards.
· Media interviewed executives and report positive cases, sustaining an excellent impression among the creative community, public welfare organizations, brand owners, and the representatives of university scholars.
Outcome
The competition lasted for 4 months, with an investment of approximately RMB 18 million in cash and RMB 60 million for advertising. It has also brought multi-level ROI value and PR value worth RMB 26,085,840. Platform recognition has rapidly improved, and created a considerable exposure effect on mobile platform.
