During London 2012, social networks were alive with support. But it was all silent. Our task was to give it a voice. So we created a ‘Social Symphony’
We aggregated all the tweets, updates, comments and posts about the #HomeAdvantage and used them to power a live, constantly updating symphony.
The level of real-time social noise actually composed the symphony. As it increased, more instruments joined in. As it decreased, they faded out until called upon again. Melodies within the specially-commissioned score rose and fell. And when Jess Ennis won Gold, a choir joined in singing her name.
