Description
While other brands try to compete to soothe a sore throat from a cold, we changed the conversation and showed that Soothers could soothe all kinds of sore throats.
Rather than just one radio spot, we created a different spot for every day of the week. Each script told the story of a different sore throat and was even narrated by the charismatic voice of Tom Baker (Dr Who and Little Britain).
In this instance, Tom tells us about Gareth, the young man who walked out his front door on Wednesday without his jacket.
He narrates, in his own special way, just how cold it is with an analogy that will make you shiver. Let it be a warning to those with a ‘jacketless’ attitude to Wednesdays.
Finally, we chose to have some fun with the disclaimer as Tom lectures us in the way only a mum can.
