In an effort to create fresh content to inspire and educate potential visitors about the Island in an entertaining way, sparking trip ideas for future visits, the Destination Marketing Organization (DMO), Discover Puerto Rico, launched a video series, “Sounds like Puerto Rico.” The series brought viewers on a journey to understand Puerto Rican sounds and lingo. The series launched December 2020, with five episodes covering a variety of topics, including nature, music, culture, history and coffee. The overarching goal of this series was to ignite desires to visit new places in Puerto Rico, learn new skills, pursue new hobbies and try new activities.
