We partnered with Yahoo!, one of the top worldwide players on the Web, for this explosive stunt by advertising the Spider-Man 2 trailer on 13 Yahoo! homepages. In order to best connect with Yahoo! users across the globe, we translated the ad into 8 different languages.

Outcome

In 24 hours, the traffic to the Spider-Man 2 Web site increased by 600% and brand awareness increased by 314%. To put the success of this stunt into perspective, the studio’s most victorious online trailer launch generated 500,000 video streams. Meanwhile, the Spider-Man 2 trailer launch attracted 2.4MM people to interact with the film’s content.
