Description

“Introducing SpielBurgers” is an idea founded on dumb math, and a pun so good we just didn’t bother to ask permission. The campaign is an homage to iconic director Steven Spielberg and his classic 80’s films—as interpreted by fast-food chain Carl Jr.’s to promote their new snack-sized burgers, Charbroiled Sliders.

Famous scenes are meticulously re-created through diorama set designs using Charbroiled Sliders as the title characters in classic films like E.T., Jaws, Jurassic Park, Close Encounters and Ready Player One. Individual film sequences are dramatically edited together, building suspense towards the ultimate reveal: a campaign based on a hilarious pun that was too good to pass up.

By utilizing the high-low contrast between incredible set design, original musical scores and intellectual property from Spielberg films and a ridiculous concept, “Introducing SpielBurgers” serves pure surprise and delight.
