Description
The classic outdoor advertising market is still huge, but its effectiveness and opportunity to make it interactive are still very low. While marketers invest time and budgets in developing digital and mobile media, outdoor advertising remains unchanged.
We launched StickerRide to make an outdoor advertising move on by means of mobile application.Our app is a platform where brands and loyal drivers meet and start their advertising campaign together. Drivers choose a favourite brand, put stickers on their car and drive as usual, advertisers pay for each mile of their journey, track their routes and check campaign's result in real-time mode (Reach, GRP, Opportunity to See).
A driver chooses a brand, he is loyal to, and becomes a brand ambassador: following his usual routes to supermarkets, cinemas, kid's school - right to the place where brand's target audience is. As the advertising message on car is personified, the ad becomes native.
Execution
Our mobile application is an on-vehicle advertising platform where drivers and brands meet.
Drivers register their car in mobile app and can easily choose an advertising campaign with favourite brand, put stickers on their car and use it as usual. Our app will add bonus points for each mile of their journey. To make their regular trips mone fun, they can participate in brand's gamification activities (quests, flasmbobs) and earn extra bonuses that be converted to real money at any time.
Advertisers can easily choose drivers from their target audience (by gender, age, family status or car type) to make sure and start their campaign. They can control advertising effectiveness in real time mode (car location, bonus spend, OTS (Opportunity to see).
Our mobile app was developed in 2014 on both Android and IOS, actively launched in 2015 in Russia (Moscow).
Outcome
In 2015 we made succesfull advertising campaigns with both multinational brands (MARVEL "Avengers",Central Partnership, P&G Gilette) and local brands (MTS- russian telecom, BinBank, MKB Bank) and increased geography in Russia (Moscow and Saint-Petersburg).
Company showed operational effectiveness on 12 month launch
In 2016 StickerRide recieved investments of 1.5$ mln, that will be used for further product development and new markets entry (USA- Los Angeles| New York | Chicago, UK- London, France - Paris). Till the end of 2016 the company expects to be present at 4 markets with turnover of 3 mln$
