Execution
To activate the Cinema & TV Writing Course we surprised the potential students adding to the typical Call Centre Menu of the university an intriguin option: 'If you have a gift for scriptwriting, press two”. By clicking this option they were drawn to an interactive content, where they could simulate the experience of creating a script by making multiple choices that change the events, dialogs and even the end of a story. The goal was to catch the audience in their first contact with the university - the phone call, achieving 100% of submissions in the scriptwriting course.
Outcome
Implemented 3 months before the first class of Writing for Cinema & TV, the Storytelephone's results exceeded expectations:
- The course had 320% more applications than spaces, allowing the university for the first time to choose the best candidates - which improved the reputation of the course among the scriptwriting professionals and students.
- The conversion rate of customers by phone increased in 87% compared to 2012.
- All the vacancies for next year’s course are already taken.
