Coppertone KIDS is aimed for the children segment, has as main target young mothers who want their children to enjoy outdoor activities, but also care about their skin and how to take care of it.

The Easter vacation is a period when families go to the beach and the skin of their children is exposed to UVA and UVB rays.

Coppertone Kids need to capitalize this with an innovation that helps increase their sales but most important that helps mothers to protect their kids this holiday period.

Coppertone Sunalarm was launched during holiday period, this limited edition of Coppertone Kids sunblock has an integrated timer especially designed to remind mothers when it is time to protect their children's skin again.

Even though vacations are a tough period due the saturation special offers that the competitors launch, Coppertone Sunalarm sold out and Coppertone reaffirm its position as leader of the category.

Execution

Coppertone Sunalarm is a limited edition of Coppertone Kids sunblock, which has an integrated timer especially designed to remind mothers when it is time to protect their children's skin again. It is easy to use and requires no batteries since it is mechanical, the steps to use it are: application of the block, turn the timer 360º and wait, when it is time to reapply an alarm sounds. Mothers and their children can forget about everything, especially sunburns.
