Background

Today, as the women's movement is progressing gradually,women are searching for a wider range of freedoms. We are beginning to have more choices about life, about careers, about family and social roles. But when we focus on true women’s rights, we realised there still is a long way to go . That's why we continue to advocate for women's issues to explore the path to progress.

 

For Women’s History Month in March, TCL sought to spotlight the brilliant women in our communities that are challenging societal norms to enable a better future for the next generation. The brand created and released an exciting social video across its platforms, which featured the numerous ways that modern women are redefining their roles and standing up to dated narratives by living life on their terms.

Execution

This film abandoned macro perspective, instead of to portrays the lives of unique individual women, such as a grandmother who breaks the age stereotype and bravely pursues new hobbies; a female artist who can achieves work and family balance ; a female white-collar worker who explores the joys of life after work; and a young woman who throws away her social media filters to face her true self.

In the mundanity of life, to show the real state, real dilemma, real breakthrough of every woman. This is the concept we want to convey to you through TCLforHer. Cherish every opportunity to speak out and deliver real energy.

Outcome

TCL has turned its social platforms into a valuable forum for conversation, actively creating an engaging, inclusive space where women can come together to share and discuss their experiences, ideas and dreams without judgement.

#TCLforHer 2023 International Women's Day global launch video project. Only one week after the project was launched, it was recommended 3 times by the first media portal, and the viewing volume of domestic and international short video platforms exceeded 8,759W+, and the interaction volume was 347W+.
