A mailing that is reduced in size as much as the new Actros has reduced its emissions.
Execution
To advertise the eco-efficiency of the Actros we sent out a mailing in a regular C4 envelope. The trick: the cover letter is reduced by 62.1%. The same amount with which the Actros has reduced its emissions. The mailing was part of a three phase mailing initiative to promote the Actros as an eco-friendly truck and the winner of the Green Truck of the Year Award.
Outcome
In the first eight weeks following our mailing the number of appointments in our client service centers increased up to an astonishing 6 percent.
