Description
Following the benedictine principles we created something that serves as a daily reminder of our brand values to honor the great work of our gastronomes: The Benediktiner art of brewing calendar. A calendar that inducts customers into our special brewing process and transports our brand values right into the taproom.
Execution
In line with ancient copper engravings, twelve sophisticated hand illustrated motifs present month by month the twelve characteristic steps of the Benediktiner Weissbier brewing process. Illustrated with the greatest care, each motif itself tells the story of the specific brewing step in form of a metaphor, combining the modern brewing process with our art of brewing roots from ancient times. Additional handwritten copies explain the main process in classical rhyme form. These unique motifs were printed on the promotional tool that represents the pleasure of beer drinking like no other: the beer mat. The calendar was delivered in a high quality wooden box that can be mounted on a wall.?
Outcome
Our main aim - to honor the work of our premium gastronomies and strengthen the bond -was extremely successful. The calendar was received with great pleasure and the gastronomes replied with admiration. Placed in the midst of the customers, it transports our brand values directly into the taproom. Here it is illustrating how much care we put in everything, which is directly linked to the brand – from our very important brewing process to a direct mailing. Therefore it helps to increase the business volume for the gastronomes and improve the image of the brand itself as a high quality premium beer. ?The calendar was sent to over 5000 handpicked restaurant proprietors. Now it is a steady reminder of the Benediktiner values throughout Germany: Taking time for the good things in life.?
