Laser cutting a thin plastic substrate presented itself with a myriad of problems: The plastic buckled and warped. Ridges from melted plastic formed on the underside of the card. We searched and found the perfect vendor that understood the level of detail and perfection that we were striving for. The vendor applied a thin adhesive liner sheet to both the top and bottom of the plastic sheet, to help preserve the flatness of the plastic sheet and to keep the crispness of the small details.
