Execution

IGI Airport, New Delhi has been in the news for all the right reasons. Starting with the new T3 being the swanky and sleek terminal that it is. Not far behind is T1 taking inspiration and sprucing up its offering is T1 going the extra mile to give clients what they want. So what do advertising clients, who spend millions at the airports really want. To sum it up in a word, they want IMPACT. Case in point being Microsoft, for the launch of office 365, the marketing minds that steer the brand were quite sure that they wanted to flood the entire boarding area with an awe-inspiring brand presence. So they zinged up the entire boarding area at the Terminal, in addition to the existing media, a 1700 sq ft wall – wrap, which wasn’t a part of the regular portfolio, was offered to Microsoft for their Launch Campaign of Office 365, a number of LED blinkers were amalgamated with the creative to ensure a stunner. It has the presence and the stature needed to portray the mobility USP of the product. Not just the size even the content of the creative was one that had a connect with the consumers.

Every single person on the go in today’s corporate world knows what its like to juggle work through the day and with the most frustrating of those moments being within a traffic jam. The icing on the cake was the LED lights that brought alive this surreal installation. This gave an illusion of cars stuck in traffic jam with their brake lights going on and off again and again. The placement of the site along with its enormity and innovation ensured that it turned heads of all departing passengers towards the blinking lights. While the client was looking for a 15 day campaign to start with, the magnanimity of the site and the tremendous response that they received made them extend it without second thought
