OVERVIEW

Description

It is 1889 and we are at the World Fair in Paris. The grandiose, recently build Eiffel Tower sets the scene. We follow its inventor ? Gustave Eiffel ? and his entourage through a massive hall with spectacular inventions, as he mocks one invention after the other.

Towards the end of the tour, the group arrives at the down-to-earth Dutch podium. Mr. Eiffel mistakes the simple door-table on the podium as the Dutch invention. He makes a demeaning joke and walks away.

Suddenly Mr. Heineken appears on the scene with a crate of Heineken beer, brewed with its unique A-yeast. He pours the beer in a glass and presents it to the crowd, who are all in awe with its refreshing taste. At this point, the film reveals that Heineken won a Grand Prix at the World’s Fair in 1889. After all this time, Heineken beer remains deliciously refreshing.
