Background
There is a condo boom in Toronto, where this activation was launched. It seems like a mega-condo is being built on every corner.
So playing off the noise connected to this construction had extra relevance to our audience.
Execution
This noise-cancelling poster was a first in the outdoor medium.
We played off unique surroundings – loud construction sites – to demonstrate the peace and quiet that people could experience by using a REALTOR®.
By using white noise, specially developed for this activation, and an omni-directional speaker, we were able to actually block out the noise of the surrounding construction.
So when a person walked in front of this poster, they would be immediately surrounded by silence.
An interactive and innovative way to remind people to use a REALTOR® and not end up living next to a construction site.
