To demonstrate the vehicle’s off--road capabilities and sophisticated personality, Kia teamed up with distinguished action hero Pierce Brosnan to put the Sorento through its paces in challenging winter conditions.
For the Super Bowl, we find Pierce right in the middle of a getaway, but in this case, it’s not exactly the getaway he expected.
The commercial begins inside a talent agency where we see Pierce Brosnan in a meeting with his agent. He’s being pitched a new role, which happens to be the very commercial we’re watching. We see the story play out as the agent enthusiastically describes it, and while Pierce expects danger around every turn he soon discovers that escaping to a beautiful place in the new Kia Sorento is surprising and exhilarating enough.
