Getty Images Introduce: The Real World
An initiative that replicates the most stereotypical pictures of GettyLatam with common people.
Execution
We started this project inviting our entire database of photographers to be part of this initiative. And the answer soon arrived: Photographers from all over Latin America quickly joined to this project.
Then, we customize the user experience on our website to organically release our content through the search mechanism:
We added a banner on the search results that suggested a new picture with real protagonists.
And this afterward takes you to a section on our website with a full repository of hundreds of images created for this project, where the user could find more information about The Real World.
Once the work was done, we invited different agencies and clients to use our pictures which reflect the real world.
Outcome
Just in Chile we achieved 25 brands who dared to show the real world in their campaigns.
More than 5000 replicas images downloaded and visits from all over Latin America.
We helped to create a more real image of our world.
