Deliver the newspaper rolled into a perfect paper football on Friday, June 9, the first day of the 2006 FIFA World Cup. Train delivery boys to kick the paper footballs into homes, balconies and windows. The open and read newspaper balls were kick delivered to over 20,000 non times reader homes across Mumbai.
Outcome
An overall increase of 23% in the number of new subscriptions was recorded during the first week of the World Cup. Goal 2006 was the most widely read supplement among all publications in a Metro Readership Survey.
