Description
We did a Mannequin Challenge together with a group of patients with Spinal Muscular Atrophy to expose the thousands of children for whom, being unable to move is no option or game, it´s the way they live.
Execution
The video was shared in the social networks of the Foundation and a PR campaign for the communication media and influencers was carried out to amplify the idea, to make more people know the illness and start collaborating.
Outcome
The video reached over 200 thousand people in only 48 hours with an investment of only $125 USD.
#MovetePorFame, the hashtag the video was launched with, was Trending Topic in Argentina in less than 24 hours.
We also achieved 20 minutes of media coverage for the foundation representatives on national TV channels.
Facebook interactions were raised to 1600% and the number of followers increased by 55%.
And most important, during the launch month, donation went up to 500%, setting a new record in fundraising, and the SMA National Registry doubled the amount of registered patients per month.
