Description

Killer integration.CSI New York is the third show in the CSI crime series. TV channel Five wanted something stand-out that showed the urban crime scenes of New York. We created the Carbon Copy Killer - he's sick and evil because he only kills people with the same name. YOUR NAME! The Internet film shows your name in various news reports. And then the killer speaks your name. He SPEAKS your name from your computer! When you send to a friend he speaks their name too! Aaaaarrrrrggggghhhhh!!!

Execution

TV commercials featuring a general crime image of bullets being fired through apples (like in a crime lab) broke through in January 2005. Two weeks before the transmission date the first Internet film was released which featured the Carbon Copy Killer news reports – all personalised to your name, and he speaks your name. Two days after viewing the film you receive a forensic mail pack that shows the newspaper reports of your name from the film. And one week before the transmission date a reminder email is sent to recipients of the films and direct mail, containing more detail of episodes of CSI:NY.
