This is followed by an on-screen text: Cinema wouldn't be the same without our fresh vegetarian snacks.Hiltl. Vegetarian restaurants.
Execution
In 2008, the very successful movie “Death Proof” by Quentin Tarantino was being shown in Zurich cinemas. The Hiltl cinema commercial made a direct, humorous reference to it, showing a professional sound designer making a completely new soundtrack for the famous fight scene. To recreate the sound of hitting and cracking bones, he breaks fresh, crunchy vegetables into pieces.
