Description
A twist on familiar road signs, with a new message -- turning on the headlights even during the day serves as an effective early warning tool for motorcycle riders to be seen by other pedestrians and vehicles, and even in the most challenging road conditions.
Execution
To effectively simulate road signs and what makes them effective in the outdoor setting, the main visual image was printed in reflectorized paper. This made the posters particularly stand out and literally shine, calling out to our audience and delivering the message across more effectively.
Outcome
The campaign ran in local newspaper publications and various outdoor locations. The campaign communicated a unique road safety message, especially for the growing local market -- turning the headlights on during the day. The move put Yamaha, who are already at the forefront of the local motorcycle industry, as leaders and innovators in their field.
