Virgin Mobile in Australia sponsor V Festival: one of the country's biggest music festivals. Problem is, few Aussies make the association with Virgin and live music. We were challenged with proving Virgin Mobile's music heritage, and did so by creating an internet film with the rapper Vanilla Ice, where he says sorry for all his musical crimes. The film was an instant YouTube hit (already Australia's biggest ever viral) and sent people to RIGHTMUSICWRONGS.ORG, where they could vote on Vanilla's innocence and add their own suspects. The campaign culminated with us flying VANILLA ICE out to Australia to face a live verdict at V Festival, ultimately he was forgiven and performed in front of a huge crowd!
