Description
The visitor centre presents the history of the European Union and it provides as well a transparent explanation of the European Parliament's function and how it works in practice. A visit to the Parlamentarium will be an exciting yet informative experience for a wide range of international visitors.
Execution
Varieties of immersive presentations are spread out over 3 floors. The visitors journey consists of a series of carefully harmonised narrative spaces, each with a characteristically 3D expression of the content. Every EU citizen is addressed in his/her own native language and all information is provided in 23 languages.
Outcome
The Parlamentarium attracts many visitors from all over Europe as well as worldwide guests, visiting Brussels. 100,000 visitors had been welcomed within the first 5 month since the opening.
