OVERVIEW

Description

INATAA is the largest NGO of dog therapists in Brazil, treating patients in hospitals and nursing homes. This year, we have helped the NGO to develop a new type of treatment session, 100% directed towards the needs of refugees that come to this country, launching the new therapy with the film “Welcome Ibrahim”. In the film, we follow the most innocent memories of a Syrian child, called Ibrahim, while witnessing the difficulties he experienced to reach his new country. Accompanying all the scenes is an emotive narration from someone who seems to be reflecting on the situation. At the end, we discover, in fact, that the narrator of our story was one of the dogs from INATAA. The message “while men discuss whether to open or close boarders, dogs set the example” closes the film, inviting people to donate and learn more about INATAA’s “refugee’s best friend project”.
