OVERVIEW

Description

Paul is a tourist in Japan during cherryblossom season.

He is wondering why the blooming of the cherryblossoms is even mentioned on the weather report on TV and why the Japanese are so crazy about these flowers in general?

His Japanese friend Emi explains him the history of cherryblossom viewing in Japan, going as far back as the Heian and Edo Period.

Now understanding the symbolic and historic relations that Japanese people associate with cherryblossoms, Paul is starting to fall in love with them too!

He proceeds to try traditional cherryblossom viewing for himself and gets taught the Do's and Don'ts by Emi, enabling him to have a remarkable experience during his trip to Japan.
