Description
A raffle where any person in the stadium could win, no matter the result of the game, and without limit of prizes. For this reason, we chose the corner kick, a tension moment, where fans hold breathing, waiting for a goal; or on the contrary, the goalkeeper moves away the ball to his goal. It was, every time that referee gave the signal of corner kick in the stadium, automatic and randomly, someone won a million chilean pesos.
Execution
Based on the database of each person who went to the stadium this day (+40.000 people), we could identify everyone for their ID number and make a live raffle while the football game was playing. Also, through the technology of the stadium, we were able to identify the location of every winner and show the lucky ID number in the giant screen when corner kick was happened.
Outcome
- 7 lucky winners of one million chilean pesos for everyone.
- 40.000 people in the stadium were directly reached with the action.
- Comments in all local radio station who transmitted the football game.
- +1000 of organic comments in social networks while the football game was played.
- It was the first time that this kind of raffle, with these particular characteristics and size was developed in a stadium in the history of the country.
