Description

"Anthem" is a new brand commercial for South African Bank FNB (First National Bank). In the commercial, a young girl singing South Africa's national anthem looses her place but is helped back on track by the crowd, bringing to life the brand's message that "Where there's help, there's a way". The commercial is testament to the power of help and true to the helpful nature of South African's.What makes this commercial relevant is the fact that is flighted during the time when the ANC Youth League was taken to the Equality Court for singing struggle songs that made minority groups feel threatened. The debate around the struggle song became a heated topic and divided the nation. But just as it divided the nation our ad has showed how a song can unite a nation.
