Execution

The black and white artwork depicts a strong contrarious message.

The white side of this artwork illustrates an adult silhouette that is exhaling harmful tobacco smoke.

In contrary, the black side of the art piece represents a child who is inadvertently inhaling the intoxicating

second-hand smoke.

This strong message portrays that both primary smokers and second-hand smokers inherit the negative consequences from the tobacco smoke.

Outcome

To raise awareness of the dangers of second-hand smoke, this campaign was carried out at the Incheon International Airport and at the Hong-Ik University subway station where it has drawn the attention of numerous commuters.

The spectators showed their interest in learning the drawbacks of second-hand smoke. They were shocked by the graphic

displayed and had a better understanding about the jeopardy of health derived from second-hand smoke.

After this campain was launched with accordance to public smoking bans by South Korean government,

the number of people smoking in the streets have been significantly reduced.
