The website is aimed at presenting the BMW 5 Series Sedan as benchmark to the target audience (aged 40 - 50, successful in their private lives and professionally, guided by emotional aspects as well as their demand for the highest quality). The website is based on the eye-catching implementation of innovative internet technology, such as video streaming and 3D media. The use of this technology not only communicates the car´s strengths, it complements the vehicle´s aesthetic design and it is the key to the site´s user-friendly structure. The internet highlight´s single most important feature is the film which runs continously, displaying the BMW 5 Series on the move. All significant car details are illustrated using top-quality 3D images and a combination of highly informative texts and images.Over two thirds of all users opt for the broadband version of the website, with video streaming. The narrowband version contains the same information but is faster to download as it replaces the video with a fast-moving Flash animation.
