In Colombia children die every day because of malnutrition, in part because many mothers living in extreme poverty have no choice but to alleviate the hunger of their children than to give them sugar water mixed with newspaper sheets.

Shockingly, most people are unaware of this reality.

In a saucepan, pour 250ml of water. Heat to boiling point and add the "panela" (brown sugar). Then serve it in a bowl, cut this ad into small pieces and them.

In Colombia, many mothers living in extreme poverty have no choice but to give their children sugar water with newspaper to calm their hunger.
