Drawing upon skin analysis data from Kao R&D, the AI algorithm transforms complex skin diagnoses into visually appealing skin art, illuminating areas that require the user's utmost attention. As the user's skin undergoes changes, the skin art evolves in response. The user's skin condition analysis and diagnosis are presented in a user-friendly manner.

By integrating state-of-the-art AI visualisation tools, Beauty in Diagnosis revolutionizes the skin health process, delivering a tailored and immersive diagnostic experience with the use of real-time data.

Background

According to the World Health Organization, a staggering 900 million people worldwide suffer from skin diseases at any given time. While skin issues can largely be prevented through early detection, the challenge remains in obtaining access to skin diagnosis machines, further complicated by the intricacy of result metrics.

Kao, the top skincare brand rooted in Asia for over a century, strongly believes that the secret to promoting regular skin check-ups is crafting an elegant and effective solution.

The purpose of this campaign is not only to demystify skin health, but also to inspire individuals to prioritize self-checks and regularly monitor their skin. By doing so, we hope to foster a culture of proactive skincare management among consumers.

Meanwhile, Kao also aims to position themselves as a trendsetter in the world of skincare, utilizing their R&D team's cutting-edge technologies and making them more accessible to consumers.

By utilizing real-time data and taking an aesthetic approach, skin diagnostics are elevated from ordinary report and hefty data to a stimulating and immersive journey of discovery; Despite any existing skin conditions, the result is always presented in a visually appealing and inviting way, to inspire early detection.

Our solution is tailored for the urban consumers, a demographic that values both aesthetic and functionality.

Our strategy taps into the contemporary mindset, where traditional, clinical skin diagnoses are often seen as unattainable or dull. Performing regular skin health-check by visiting skincare centers, it requires more effort and money. The reports and analysis are complicated to understand which makes many consumers hesitate to make this a weekly, monthly, and regular habit.

Through a unique blend of beauty and technology, Kao wants to reimagine the diagnostic process in skincare and paving the way for skincare innovation, to make skin health accessible and engaging.
