BriefExplanation
Dulux launched an epic new campaign showing a world where colour is banned. Based on the idea that our lives are stories and that colour can change the way they unfold, it adopts a more emotional approach than previous campaigns.
Set in a fictional time when police enforced colour ban, taking stylistic cues from prohibition-era America, the film follows a couple who find love through colour. In a grey city, a young woman leaves her grey apartment, failing to notice her admiring neighbour. She witnesses a dramatic police chase, ending with a van driven by colour 'bootleggers' spilling a rainbow of paint across the street.
Secretly she takes home an overlooked can and paints her walls. Colour begins to transform her life, opening her mind to the world around her; she notices her neighbour and they fall for each other. Panning out over the city, we see more people rediscovering colour, and joy returning to their lives. Strapline ‘Your Life Is A Story. Change It With Dulux’
