Synopsis
Corning asked our agency to create forward-looking series of corporate vision videos to help cement its position as a technology thought leader and a progressive innovator.
“A Day Made of Glass,” the first video released in 2011, offered an inspirational, attainable, glimpse into our future. In the film, a family -- Mom, Dad, two daughters and even Grandma -- move through their day, made smarter and easier thanks to the glass innovations created by Corning.
“A Day Made of Glass 2,” released in 2012, extends Corning’s vision of the future. It takes place on the same day, features the same family, but expands the possibilities, showing new glass applications in the classroom, medical settings, and even on a school field trip. Both films demonstrate an incredible array of technological possibilities for glass use, both now and into the near future. Using extensive computer graphics and animation, a new futuristic world was created to romance and capture the imagination of the viewer.
The videos took the online world by storm, striking the perfect balance between an understanding of materials technology and people’s imagination for what their future holds – and succeeded in portraying a world they want to share with others.
