Develop an innovative, attractive and cost effective packaging solution for the brand’s newest economy range containing plain tea, ginger tea & vanilla tea.

Effectiveness

The uniqueness of the design made the purchasers curious and they immediately picked it up from the shelf, which would normally contain conventional tea boxes, tins, canisters, jars etc.

Execution

Traditionally retail products, specially dry rations like tea, sugar, flour etc. were sold in paper cones (Gotta – sinhala translation) at local groceries. This was how smaller measures were sold to customers over the counter. The inspiration for the new packaging came from this traditional Gotta.
