CampaignDescription
The world's first 360-degree motion-enhanced contemporary dance performance. The dance explored themes of disruption, creativity, innovation and growth.
We designed a real-world digital environment of 48 huge screens and 37 million pixels. Then we created a unique mix of live-action, contemporary dance performance and over 50 hours of animation featuring New York's leading dance company.
Execution
We commissioned choreographer Andrea Miller and New York's leading dance company, Gallim Dance, to create a unique dance performance. During the performance grid lines were projected live onto our four dancers. The performance was reconstructed in 3D in post. We then designed a 360-degree VR representation of the live environment to edit and synchronize the performance and animated elements across a vast range of screens. An original composition scored for our bespoke environment enhanced the performance.
Outcome
Over 2,000 of the world's leading CEOs experienced this unique, augmented contemporary dance performance.
Strategy
Our strategy was to show how technology and human ingenuity can combine to create transformative experiences. We used state-of-the-art animation and a unique digital environment of 48 screens and 37 million pixels to represent technology. Dance represented human ingenuity. We then combined the two to tell a unique story of transformation.
Synopsis
Create a jaw-dropping spectacle for an invitation-only audience of the USA's top executives and entrepreneurs attending EY's Strategic Growth Forum USA. Our task was to deliver a spectacular experience that would launch the event and bring to life the theme of technology and human ingenuity combining to transform business.
