‘How can a beer glass create an emotional experience?’ This was the question Heineken asked the agency. Always keeping in mind the iconic brand values and the correct curvature of the glass for the perfect beer flow and all-important foam head. And of course the right grip – how does the glass literally feel in your hand. And you thought that a glass is just a glass ….
Execution
Open collaboration is the key to all the work we do for Heineken. We share a creative passion to design powerful icons. Every Heineken collaboration is a delicate yet exciting game – a game in which cherishing and challenging are the only two rules that apply. Adding flashes of excitement in everything we create to keep Heineken part of the conversation. And in the case of the Star Bottle, we emphasized the power of simplicity.
Outcome
The logo was etched into the foot of the glass and the frosted Heineken Star promises that typical fresh, cold beer taste. This Star glass contains all the authentic beer signals but tosses in a little bit extra to make it ore attractive, more conversation worthy and more emotional. So this glass is not just a glass... it is a Heineken Star glass. Cheers!
