Our film begins with comedic legend, Rhys Darby, discovering that his home country, New Zealand, is being left off world maps!

Believing there’s a global conspiracy behind this peculiar disappearance, he decides to take action by calling the (actual) Prime Minister of New Zealand, Jacinda Ardern. However she doesn’t buy into his theory.

Further investigation leads Rhys to a possible motive – the world is jealous of everything New Zealand has to offer and is leaving us off on purpose.

While reporting back to the Prime Minister, he finally questions New Zealand’s odd size, shape and position at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean as the reason for being left off world maps.

But Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern then spots a map without New Zealand, while away on conference, and suggests they need some help to #getNZonthemap.

Our film features the actual Prime Minister of New Zealand, Jacinda Ardern, and well-known New Zealand actor, Rhys Darby.
