Of course it’s a big challenge for design student from Asia to join a German design agency. But especially design makes it much easier. Because it’s a universal language that can easily overcome any kind of border. Design can integrate different cultures and form something wonderfully new. So let’s mix cultures. It’s fun!
Execution
The posters feature new visual language made from German and Asian design. Proving how easily both cultures go together when it comes to design. And also proving that there is no need for concerns or fears – because it’s always fun mixing cultures.
Outcome
By now we have 11 applications from Japan. Which is more than we ever expected.
Strategy
Ogilvy Design Germany is constantly looking for talents from all over the world. But how do you convince young people from the other side of the planet to join a German agency? With this huge language barrier and a completely different culture?
The probably best way is to put something else in the place of fear and uncertainty. E.g. fun!
The posters were placed at a selection of universities in Japan.
