Unicef took the 20th anniversary of the International Convention on the Rights of the Child as an opportunity to modernise its image among potential young donors and stress its tangible actions. We decided to go to the web, to focus on the fight against malnutrition, and to adopt a positive and light-hearted tone of voice, unheard in the charity world. The “lesbriquesdelavie” website is a symbolic “wall for life”, made of virtual bricks, each of them equivalent to a one-day treatment that cures malnutrition. Optional animated brick shapes, personal messages, and pictures make the wall even more colorful and fun.
