BriefExplanation
We shot a short film that tells the story of a single dad and his daughter.
Over the course of 40 years, a single dad and daughter slowly change rolls. In the beginning, he is taking care of her. And by the end, she is caring for him. Over the years they go through many of life’s biggest challenges – she gets her first period during a middle school dance, has a difficult college roommate, a challenging pregnancy, bladder issues post pregnancy, and finally, takes on the role of caretaker for her loving father once he can no longer care for himself. Through the whole story, they share a tiny silent signal from her childhood – a little ear tug that says “it’s going to be okay.”
EntrySummary
Many women experience bladder control issues after having children – and carry an annoyingly-familiar urinary-incontinence pad in their purse.
