Synopsis
While our daily lives become more and more digital, some things justvanish, eradicated by technical revolution, they fall into oblivion. Whichis why we came up with the Museum Of Obsolete Objects, an ongoing onlineexhibition which helps the generations of today and tomorrow remember thelost technical marvels of the 20th century. Each selected obsolete object, e.g. the abacus, the light bulb or thecompact cassette, received a lovingly crafted paleo-futuristic videoproduced solely to illustrate the oddities, novelties and quirks that madethe object so special. The corresponding Museum Of Obsolete Objects webpage houses the videos complete with a specially dedicated krautrockingvintage theme song and a very weird computer-voiced narrator.
