Write a short summary of what happens in the film.
This spot tells the story of a father who lives in the country and his daughter who lives in the city. She gives him a smartphone in order to stay connected to him. From that point, they maintain a loving and affectionate relationship. In the end, the spot causes us to reflect upon the time we spend using our phones, because contrary to what we believe, most of that time goes to staying “closer” to our friends and family. To tell this story, we chose the song “I Give to You”, although it was unknown in Spain at the moment. The song transmitted an emotional charge that is reflected in the two protagonists. The lyrics serve to convey these emotions and act as a narrator, explaining the development of the story to the viewer.
Cultural / Context information for the jury
Christmas, a time when many Brands take advantage of the moments of peace and happiness to remind us incessantly about everything that we’re doing wrong the rest of the year: Did you know that one-fourth of the food wasted in a year is bought during the holidays? Do you know we give children too many presents? Or one criticism repeated by various Brands: mobile phone use is the most significant cause of separation and remoteness amongst family members and loved ones.
These Brands force people to take a position: either we see each other in person or technology causes distance between us, not counting as a method of communication. But was this true? Does technology distance us from each other, or does it—in many cases—bring us closer to those we most cherish?
We decided that people should be the ones to tell us weigh in on their use of technology.

Selected lyrics:
Let me hold your hand.
Let me look into your eyes.
Let me, with my glance,
give you all my splendor.
...
I give you my legs,
Rest your head on them.
I give you my strengths,
Use those that you do not have.
I give you the pieces,
That make up my soul.
So that you will never want for anything.
...
Let me make you smile.
