The story begins with the French chef Erick Jacquin calmly cooking in his kitchen. Suddenly, he listens to a announce on TV promoting the Best Tomato Sauce Contest, which he lost to chef Romero Grand Gateau last year. Jacquin become furious and decided he has to win this year and start to study Romero’s cuisine. Romero is specialized in molecular gastronomy and Jacquin realize this is the secret to win. He hires a young assistant to help him and tries a number of modern ways to make a winner sauce, but he fails. The chef is hopeless, but he finds an old recipe book of his grandma and remember his roots. Jacquin make a classic French sauce with a Brazilian touch and wins the contest.

Erick Jacquin is a famous French chef who live and work in Brazil. As a Master Chef Brazil jury, he is well-known because of his mood swings. As a chef, people admire his classical and good French cuisine style. Pomarola is the most traditional industrialized sauce of Brazil and launched a new flavor with Jacquin’s recipe.
